Rules & Terms
Films must:
→ Respect the correct length: 3 minutes (min) → 20 minutes (max) including credits.
→Film must adhere to this years theme of earth and nature.
→Have been made by university students over the age 16. (submitters must be 16 by the event date)
→ Be sent by its director only and through the FilmFreeway website

→ Resolution: minimum: 720p
→ Entrants can submit any genre/narrative forms
Festival is opened to UK and International university students (films in a different language than English must be submitted with English subtitles). We also welcome submissions from students who have graduated within the last two years, as long as the film was finished within the time the filmmaker was registered as a student.
ONE FILM PER DIRECTOR
By submitting your film you confirm that you are the director of it and you accept to take legal responsibilities toward it. It is expected that filmmakers still hold all of the respective rights required for their film before submitting. This includes all music, sound effects, product placement, actor/model release forms, etc. We have the right to choose whether or not a submission is suitable for display based on its quality, content, or copyright.
We may use a short clip of your film in our festival trailer. By submitting you are allowing us to also screen your film at the festival. There is no guarantee that your submission will be screened. First Frame Film Festival reserve the right to use for up to two years after the festival an excerpt from any film submitted and accepted for exhibition at the Festival for promotional purposes.
